Every reading is a jump in the hypercube

A consultation of the I Ching is already a move on the graph: you start from one hexagram and the moving lines carry you to another. The distance of the jump is, exactly, the number of lines that change. Build a reading below (or cast the coins) and watch the path.

With no moving lines the reading rests: the present hexagram is also the future one. Mark a line as moving to see the jump.
A consultation is an XOR of the moving lines; the original hexagram and the resulting one are exactly as far apart as the number of lines that changed (Hamming distance in Q6).
